I could not blog in Tokyo life, therefore I write my blog with 6 weeks time delay. Sorry, but better so than not at all!!
皇居 Koukyou the imperial palace
My first visit in Tokyo was in the imperial palace park on August, the 29th.
Tokyo Imperial Palace ( Kōkyo; literally, “Imperial Residence”) is the main residence of the Emperor of Japan. It is a large park-like area located in the Chiyoda area of Tokyo close to Tokyo Station.
The pictures were taken in the area called Higashi-Gyouen. It is the only corner open to the public. The numerous meadows and ponds invite the visitor for a pleasant retreat from the bustle of the town.
